The project is managed by the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI, Japan).

Within the framework of the project, the State Corporation ROSATOM’s organisations will study the samples of corium and “lava” generated from the Chernobyl NPP accident, and will manufacture model samples of Fukushima Daiichi NPP fuel debris in order to develop a prediction model for the changes of corium properties with the aim of using it for post-accident clean-up at Fukushima Daiichi NPP.

The isoHR685W-D examines the cables up to 10?, meaning the team working on the oil rig that’s cable has developed a fault will be notified in time to replace and continue with extracting from that subsea well.
